The International Office provides academics, partner institutions, and students with a range of services. We can help if you are an international student, or need advice and information about studying abroad, or would like to establish an international partnership.

The International Student Office or ISO is the contact point for information, with a mission to help international students make the most of their studies and university life at UKZN, for more information, students can email IRSupport@ukzn.ac.za
The International office organizes a variety of integration activities for international students to help familiarize them with the environment as well as learn about the rich and diverse cultures found in South Africa and particularly in KwaZulu-Natal. These activities include: City tours, cultural village visits as well as cultural days where students get the chance to share their cultures with fellow students.
The global engagement desk is responsible for the facilitation of International partnerships; and Erasmus+ applications.

The study abroad programme is designed for international students who wish to spend one or two semesters at UKZN, taking primarily undergraduate modules for the purpose of transferring credits on completion to their home institutions.
